Miss Joanne
With over 39 years at Betty Elaine Kindergarten, Miss Joanne is a treasured and long-standing part of our community. She has cared for generations of families, many of the parents she once nurtured as children now return with their own little ones. Her presence is a true reflection of the trust and connection built within our centre over the decades.Miss Joanne sees every child as rich in potential, each one unique and special in their own way. She believes that children have so much to teach and share with others, while also learning from those around them. She strongly values children’s rights, recognising the importance of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and ensures that every child is treated with respect, dignity, and inclusion.
Miss Deepa
Miss Deepa is loved by children, families, and her colleagues alike. She believes that every child is unique and special in their own way. She understands that children learn and grow best when they feel a strong sense of belonging and are surrounded by positivity in a nurturing environment.
As an educator, her priority is to ensure that every child feels loved, supported, and secure. She is deeply committed to maintaining a safe environment where children can confidently explore, play, and flourish in their development.

Miss Rawida
Miss Rawida brings over 15 years of experience working with children and their families. As the owner and Approved Provider of Betty Elaine Kindergarten, she is passionate about creating a warm, safe and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported.She loves the little moments that happen every day at Betty Elaine, the conversations, the laughter, the questions, and watching children simply be themselves. For Miss Rawida, the most rewarding part of early childhood is building genuine relationships with children and families and creating a place where children feel happy, loved and excited to learn.
Miss Aarju
Miss Aarju first joined Betty Elaine as a placement student while completing her studies to become an Early Childhood Teacher. During her placement, she quickly fell in love with our children, our team and the warm learning environment we create.
After completing her placement, we were so happy to welcome her back as part of our team, where she now works in our Koala Class. Miss Aarju brings a gentle, caring nature and a genuine love for helping young children learn, grow and feel confident.

Miss Jas
Miss Jas is our wonderful cook who brings plenty of love (and delicious smells!) into our kindergarten each day. She finds great joy in preparing nutritious meals for the children and loves being part of their learning environment.
What she enjoys most is hearing the children’s feedback about their meals, discovering what they love, and having those little conversations about food, nutrition and healthy choices. She believes the best recipes always include a little love and sometimes a few happy children asking for seconds!

Miss Hongmei
Miss Hongmei is passionate about her role as an early childhood educator and truly values the unique strengths of every child. She believes that all children are capable, deserving of having their voices heard, and having their rights respected.Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow educators is at the heart of her practice. She understands that meaningful learning happens when children feel safe, valued, and understood.

Miss Lynda finds great joy in supporting children as they grow, achieve milestones, and build confidence in their abilities. She is committed to creating a warm and secure environment where children feel happy, valued, and inspired to learn. For her, the laughter and energy within the centre are a daily reminder of why early childhood education is so special.

Miss Mandy believes that every child is unique, with their own personality, interests, and individual needs. She enjoys taking the time to truly get to know each child and their family, building meaningful connections that support children’s sense of belonging.Mandy also values the opportunity to connect with families daily. These strong relationships allow her to better understand and support each child’s individual journey.
